Chestnut Walk

Good thing no one is afraid of heights

The Red Leaf River Inn is located just outside the town limits of Waynesville, NC. Far enough out that you will hear nothing but the sounds of trees, animals, and the stream, we are still less than a mile from downtown Waynesville and just minutes from the Smokey Mountain Expressway.  Two turns off the expressway will bring you to Chestnut Walk Drive, a private road marked by a 15 foot high archway.

Like much of the inn, the archway was once a sign of the care and detail put into the property but recent years of neglect were showing in peeling paint and overgrown vines.  So, Georgina and Victor spent an hour painting and clearing until the archway once again represented the beauty of the inn and the property.

Repainted and cleared of vines, turn here for your next getaway\
